Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

The Daily is a devotional app made by Ciel Studio. We built it to help you spend time with God — not to harvest your data. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we don't.

The short version

We don't run ads. We don't use analytics or tracking SDKs. We don't sell your information, and we never share it with advertisers. The only data we hold is what the app needs to keep your account and your reading progress in sync.

What we collect

That's it. We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, browsing history, or device identifiers for tracking.

Where your data lives

Your account and activity are stored securely with our backend provider, Supabase, and are protected so that only your account can read or write your own records. The devotional content itself is delivered to your device and cached so the app works offline.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your card number or billing details. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple account settings.

Children

The Daily is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and deletion

You can sign out at any time. You can ask us to delete your account and all of the data associated with it — once deleted, it cannot be recovered. To make a request, just email us.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
